Crescere a Mezzogiorno. Organizzazione di un gruppo di ricerca e alcune evidenze empiriche

In the aftermath of the crisis conventionally started with the Lehman’s default, which echoed even in Europe and over the most fragile areas in the Mediterranean area SMEs in the South of Italy addressed peculiar growing pathways. Thanks to a research project in which three university from the Campania region and a number of interviewers have been involved, the article criticizes delegation processes occurred during growth phases. Delegation, meant as the critical factor of success within dimensional development and structuration processes (e.g. as explained by Chandler in 1962) represents the crossroad from a small firm paternally lead to a medium enterprise. In this article, delegation-dimension will be presented through the different representation tied to formality-informality, with the aim of exploring threats and opportunities of both.
