On the night of July 27-28, 2026 Lorenzo Caselli - Founder, Scientific Director, Director Emeritus and a lifelong source of inspiration for Impresa Progetto - passed away.
Lorenzo Caselli was a management scholar who carefully studied business for what it is and what it could and should be to contribute to the common good. He was open to interdisciplinary dialogue with economists, sociologists, and philosophers; he was capable of combining scientific rigor, the values of fairness and solidarity, and openness to the most advanced currents of economic and social thought.
Last year, Impresa Progetto dedicated to him the Special Issue “Lorenzo Caselli: impresa, lavoro, società, bene comune” (Impresa Progetto, no. 2/2025), which today serves as a valuable reference point for understanding his unique role as a scholar.
