Competitività & governance. Un'analisi empirica del "Distretto dei vini delle Langhe, Roero e Monferrato"

On issue: 

This paper aims at exploring the connections between competitiveness and governance issues for economic and entrepreneurial development of firm-environment system local "vocations". This explorative study adopts the advanced quali/quantitative methodology proposed by Tardivo-Cugno (2012), appropriately integrated to the case-study under inspection: the definition of governance and government policies in the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato Wine District. The results of the "local indicator of spatial association" in the above-mentioned area suggest interesting managerial implications and several hints for defining partnership among economic and institutional operators who are interested in the development of local resources and products.
