Tecnologie e opzioni di investimento “green” nel settore Ferry, Ro-Ro e Ro-Pax

In a context increasingly oriented towards environmental sustainability and emission reduction, shipping companies are triggered to adopt measures aimed at mitigating the impact of their business activities on climate and environment. In this context, the Ferry, Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax sector deserves particular attention, especially because of the importance of related traffic volumes and the availability of "green" technologies that could be adopted in the sector. The research objective of this study is twofold. First the paper provides a comprehensive taxonomy on the environmental impacts generated by the sample sector through the adaptation to the segment of the taxonomy allocated in the last GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standards and in the CDP (ex-Carbon Disclosure Project). Second, the paper analyses the main "green" investment options available to shipping companies, originated from an exhaustive systematic literature review analysis conducted on 350 academic articles.
